So after 3 LOONNNGGGG weeks the children are all finally back at school, I love them dearly but I love them so much more when they are out of eyeshot and at school. The continuous ‘mummy, mummy, mummy she did, she wont, I dont like’ …is enough to send me straight to the asylum. I am excited today as the job I was looking into has come off and it starts next week, so now I need to get the nanny organised for my start next week, so its all go.

On a creative note I am feeling completely inspired by the utterly gorgeous light in the mornings and sunset, so pretty against the snow, I have taken to bringing my camera along with me everywhere I go and snapping like mad.. which brings me onto the next part of my creative ideas – digital scrapbooking, a way to use all my photos in a productive way so they dont just sit in a computer somewhere festering. Am loving using Photoshop Elements  (a Christmas Present to myself) and its the perfect place to do the digital scrapbooking  and can happily waste away hours just playing with different layouts, sad but true, I found an amazing site that gives this stuff away – its just fantastic, have a look www.shabbyprincess.com and check out the dowloads page

I have been playing with Florabella Actions on Photoshop too and I just ADORE that stuff, www.florabellacollection.com truly beautiful and right up my street, thanks to Claire Penn for the heads up on that one. I am only a beginner when it comes to digital photgraphy, having done a classic photography course YEARS ago, so its like saying hello to and old friend to pic up a camera and shoot away

Still working on the Homemade Mummy website at the moment too, really excited by that and the potential of it http://www.facebook.com/#/group.php?gid=254067369571&ref=ts. The opportunity to allow women to support their families doing something they love, or just make a bit of extra cash is something thats really important to me. It seems like 2010 has started well, I really want to keep up that momentum and roll with it, so many irons in the fire at the minute. Opportunity seems to be knocking at all the right doors so i am running around like a headless chicken opening them.

This new job brings a new car – yay – excited – so that probably means saying farewell to my trusty steed the Chrysler, its been an amazing car and to be honest I think a ‘mere mortal’ car is gonna struggle to fill the hole that the Chrysler leaves, but onwards and upwards.
